Xui Ping Teapot

A milky white porcelain teapot that beautifully mimics the shape of a classic Yixing style, Xui Ping. The perfectly round body narrows to a small base while the slender ear balances a classic duck-billed spout. So simple and yet so sophisticated. The curves repeat themselves from the base of the spout to the sensitively formed lid. Lightness and grace are all presented in a teapot small enough to fit in the palm of one hand. It's delicate appearance and miniature scale make it a lovely addition to that next intimate tea gathering.

The flange below the teapot lid is 0.35in. and has built in drainage holes.
Xui Ping can be translated as Water Level. Teapots of this shape are often called Xui Ping because they are supposed to be buoyant in the water, floating perfectly level.
Handcrafted from Taiwan.
Hand wash only with mild detergent.
