Known as the Little Beauty because the shape of this teapot was once dedicated to a woman celebrated for her looks. Her identity is obscured by time but the shape lives on. Our little beauty is a stylish version from Taiwan with a rich, glossy finish. The elongated finial and truncated spout lend emphasis to the steeply curved body. It's petite size is ideal for gongfu tea practice and the natural minerals of the native Taiwanese clay would greatly complement a high mountain Taiwanese oolong.

  • This teapot is from Taiwan where the quality of handmade teapots have come to rival the famous Yixing wares. Many tea connoisseurs prefer to pair their Taiwanese oolongs with a Tawian made teapot. There are differences to the clay's weight and texture but it can be treated like a Yixing teapot, needing only to be rinsed with water after brewing tea.
