A tea with delicate features and an evanescent nature that manages to arouse big anticipation. Dragonwell season is a short one and the perfect harbinger of summer. The taste, texture, fragrance... none of it lingers long enough for us.
Winnie tasted more lemon notes than in previous harvests. We also savored traces of chestnut and green bean cake after the second steep.
The fragile leaves require some brewing finesse but a perfect cup carries a mouth watering harmony of sweet and refreshing.
