- The flange below the teapot lid is 0.35in. and has built in drainage holes.
- The Kat Qong was one of the shapes that experienced a revival in popularity in the early nineteenth century during a time when the art of Yixing Pottery was receiving new patronage and renewed interest. Most of it attributed to one scholar, Chen Mansheng.
