One of our favorite teas at any age, this tea's seen a good ten years (possibly more) since it's harvest. The spicy aroma is softer than it was even a few years ago but the flavor is richer and smoother. We still get the plummy notes and there's an exotic spice that captures our fancy. The earthy profile isn't for the frivolous and we must wait for the sweet, citrus finish to see the lighter side of the warrior monk. The cha-qi relaxes and puts us in a contemplative mood.
