  1976 Liu An

A small leaf varietal with a distinct personality that even sets it apart from other Liu Ans. It's potent bittermelon flavor means not everyone will enjoy. Even at The Tea Gallery, Dae loves this tea and it's sharp character... Winnie does not. Intense and uncompromising with a strong menthol finish. There's a touch of cucumber that refreshes the palate and the mint stays with you for a long time.
Winnie says it reminds her of a medicinal wine that she's not particularly fond of. Dae says she's happy to drink Winnie's share.
